Anbefaler Darja, hun er dyktig. Dessuten er disse produktene veldig personlig som feks en gave i motsetning til masseproduserte bamser etc.

A BIT ABOUT ME AND HOW IT ALL STARTED :)

My name is Darja and I was born in Slovenia in 1978. When I was 2, we moved to Croatia, where I lived until 2009, then I moved to Norway. Got married and become mom of two boys :)

I came across crochet toys when my kids were small, and I thought to myself it would be cool to be able to create something like that, but I just didnt have enough time at the moment. Few years later when they were both in kindergarten I decided now was the time to try. I bought a skein of yarn, a simplest crochet hook and found myself a YouTube tutorial. Step by step and throughout couple of days, I made my first toy - a small teddy bear, and just like that, I was hooked! It felt amazing to create something with only crochet hook and a skein of yarn!

I took my time and chose projects carefully, so that I learn something new from each one. I started publishing everything I made so I can keep track of my progress over time and was pleasantly surprised by all the nice comments I've got. Soon came first orders as well.

Crocheting toys is very time consuming activity. For most of  items I make, it takes anywhere from 8 to 12 (and more) hours. But I also find crocheting fun and very relaxing. And that smile, when someone instantly get connected with something I made, that smile is what makes it worth it :)

It really warms my heart to see handmade items are recognized and cherished and I hope this trend continues.

Thank you so much for supporting my dream!
